Soda glazed ceramics typically are warm, earthy oranges and browns that seem to keep the feeling of the fire in them forever. the soda glaze swirls in puffs and clouds and streams on the tongues of the fire throughout the kiln. Where the currents of fire containing heavier concentrations of the sodium hit the wares, it concentrates to form unpredictable patterns and marks on the wares and changes glazes dramatically.
